Overview

Tasks are how procedures (services) are assigned to clients and scheduled.

You can easily setup tasks for your clients individually. To know more about tasks, check out this link.


Create a Task

In the following steps, we will create a task for a client.


  1. From the navigation, click Clients.


  2. Click the client for which you want to add the task.

  3. From the left menu drawer, click Tasks.



  4. Click New.



  5. Select an existing procedure from the list. In case you do not have a procedure already, click here to create one.



  6. Enter a number of days to complete the work in the Complete Before field

  7. If the procedure has a schedule already defined, the Schedule field will be automatically populated. Otherwise add a new one.
  1. Next to Schedule, click



  2. Either specify a recurring Schedule for the task or specify it to Run once. 
    1. Recurring Schedule
      Change the recurring unit from year to your choice, specify the date and time, and click Save.



    2. Run Once
      Change the Financial Year, specify the time using the built-in time picker, and click Save.



  3. Select the client to send an email, assign an accountant, and click Create.

    NOTE: 
    You can send email to only those clients and contacts that have an email configured.



    The task has been created for the client.
