Overview
Clients are signed up for services by creating tasks. A task associates a service to a client, and controls the scheduling, who participates etc. To learn more about tasks, check out this link.
Adding Services to Clients and Starting Jobs
In the following steps, we will add a service to a client and start the job.
- From the navigation, click Clients.
- Click the client for which you want to add the task.
- From the left side menu, click Tasks.
- Click New.
- Select an existing procedure from the list. In case you do not have a procedure already, click here to create one.
- Enter the number of days the procedure can run, before it is considered over due, in the Complete Before field.
- If a default schedule has been defined in the procedure, the Schedule field is already populated. Otherwise add a new one.
- Next to Schedule, click
- Either specify a recurring Schedule for the task or specify it to Run once.
- Recurring Schedule
Change the recurring unit from year to your choice, specify the date and time, and click Save. - Run Once
Change the Financial Year, specify the time using the built-in time picker, and click Save.

- Select the Client to send an email, assign an Accountant, and click Create.
NOTE: You can send e-mail to only those contacts that have an e-mail specified. - The task has been created for the client.
Starting the Job
In the following steps, we will start the job.
- From the left menu drawer, select Work to display the lists of active, completed and upcoming tasks.
- Upcoming section enlists the tasks that are scheduled to run in the future
- Active lists the tasks that are currently running
- Completed lists the tasks that has been completed
Working with Tasks
In the following steps, we will perform the activities on the active task.
- Under the Active section, click the task you want to work on
- Click to switch between the information to receive and send to the client
- Mark Done the information you have exchanged
