What is a Task?

In Pragmeo, a Task is a recurring activity for exchanging information with clients either in the form of downloadable documents or editable Forms. This information could be invoices, expenses, or bank statements. Tasks are practiced when you offer your services to the clients and are essential for defining services in the system. To learn more about how tasks are related to services, read this article.


You can easily add Tasks to your account either by using prebuilt standard templates or creating a new one from scratch.


Create a Task

In the following steps, we will create a Task from scratch.


  1. From the navigation, clickCatalog, and select Tasks.

  2. Click New.


  3. You can create a new Task using the standard templates offered by Pragmeo, or create a new one from scratch.


Create a Task Using Templates

The following steps illustrate how to create a Task using a template.


  1. Click From Template, and select one or more templates that you want to use in the procedure. Click Save



  2. The Task is created and displayed based on the selected template.


Create a Task from scratch

The following steps illustrate how to create a Task from scratch without using a template.

  1. Click From New, and enter the basic information like ID, name, description and help desk.


  2. Select how you want to exchange the information with the client while offering a service. Options Include:
    a) [Documents] - to exchange information via downloadable files
    b) [Information forms] - to exchange information via inbuilt forms.


  3. Select whether you need to Always ask for information when the task is Completed or Never.


NOTE: In case, you have selected Information (forms), you can use Pragmeo's inbuilt Form Builder to design a form that best suits your needs.

  1. Click Save.
